Problems In Polyester Screen

The whole screen surface of polyester screen has irregular fracture. According to the grain condition of fracture section, it can be determined whether there is material quality problem. However, the stainless steel screen beyond the material warranty period is excluded (stainless steel screen material warranty period of one year, if it exceeds this period, fracture may occur).


Polyester screen presents linear fracture, which is generally caused by the secondary vibration between the support bar of screen box and the screen screen formed under the condition of no tension (or tension is not tight), and the screen mesh is straight-line and regular fracture caused by mutual impact. Several possible causes of such damage are as follows:

A. The screen size is too long, resulting in the tension screw is not tight;

B. There is a problem with the tensioning mechanism of the screen, the tensioning plate does not match with the screen machine, and the tensioning plate (hook) is worn thin or deformed;

C. The shape and size of the curved edge of the screen does not match with the tensioning plate;

D. The welding fracture of screen body leads to structural damage of screen body;

E. The rubber pad is worn or empty;

F. The design structure defect of screen or screen machine;

G. The supporting bar of the screen box is lower than the screen, that is, there is a certain distance between the supporting bar and the screen;

H. The stiffness of four springs of vibrating screen machine is not uniform; 

I. The amplitude of vibrating screen is too large.



In the process of polyester screen screening, according to the properties of materials, there will be various forms of mesh blockage. The main causes of screen hole blockage are as follows:

(1) It contains a large number of particles close to the separation point;

(2) The moisture content of material is high;

(3) Spherical particles or materials with multiple contact points to the sieve mesh;

(4) Static electricity will occur;

(5) The material is fibrous;

(6) There are many flake particles;

(7) The braided screen wire is thick;

(8) The design of the hole shape of thick screen such as rubber screen is unreasonable, which does not reach the upper small and the lower large, so that the particles are stuck.
